JOHN GEORGE PSYCHIATRIC HOSPITAL
Located in San Leandro, the hospital is part of Alameda Health System, providing psychiatric emergency and acute care services to adults experiencing severe and disabling mental illness and treats all who seek care regardless of their economic or social status. Diagnosis and evaluation and the use of a solution-focused approach are designed to assist in stabilizing patients, achieving personal goals and developing skills and resources to lead to wellness and recovery.

Services that Encourage Effective Dialogue and Solution. Formerly East Bay Community Mediation, serving Berkeley, Oakland, Hayward, Castro Valley and Fremont. It provides assistance in conflict resolution, interventions in restorative justice to schools, workplaces and communities, and trains individuals, organizations, and government agencies in a variety of topics.

AFTA is an organization of approximately 700 leading national and international family therapy educators, researchers, clinicians, program directors, and policy makers dedicated to advancing systemic and social constructionist theory, research, and practice for families in their communities and larger social contexts.
ASSOCIATION FOR FAMILY THERAPY OF NORTHERN CALIFORNIA
The AFTNC was established in the early 1960s and is the nation's oldest professional association of couples and family therapits, seeking to help families throughout Northern California.
LOW-COST PSYCHOLOGICAL SERVICES
BERKELEY COMMUNITY MENTAL HEALTH CENTER
Psychiatrists, psychologists, urses, counselors and others provide direct clinical services. Priority populations served are adults with serious and persistent mental illnesss, adults with major, acute psychiaric concerns, and children and adolescents with serious emotional disturbance.
PSYCHOLOGY CLINIC AT UC BERKELEY
The Psychology Clinic is part of the Clinical Science Program in the Department of Psychology at UC Berkeley, providing mental health services to the Bay Area. The staff includes doctoral students and interns and supervising faculty and clinicians from the community. Offering therapy for individuals, families and couples, assessments and consultation, and community consultation and preventive intervention strategis to schools, mental health and criminal justice agencies and local communities.
WRIGHT INSTITUTE CLINICS
These training clinics, staffed by Wright Institute doctoral students under faculty supervision, provide low-fee therapy to members of the public. Located on Addison Street in Berkeley, one clinic focuses on long-term psychodynamic treatment. The CBT clinic focuses on long-term and brief cognitive-behavioral treatment. The Assessment Services offers low-fee psychological and neuropsychological testing for children (age 6 and above), adolescents, and adults. The Recovery Clinic focuses individuals challenged by drug addiction and trauma.
WEST COAST CHILDREN'S CLINIC
A private, not-for-profit clinic providing individual, group and family therapy for children and their parents, relatives or foster parents from a variety of perspectives with a common commitment to being long-term. A training clinic for psychologists, also does trauma work, psychological evaluations that are collaborative and therapeutic and foster youth development and transition age support groups.
WOMEN'S THERAPY CENTER
A non-profit organization in Berkeley, the WTC is dedicated to strengthening families and communities through affordable therapy for multi-cultural and sexually diverse women, adolescent girls (14-18) and couples.
